The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) strives to aid workers across the United States, including improving their working and environmental conditions and ensuring representation for the decisions, rights and needs of workers everywhere. LIUNA has extensive leadership across the country. The organization and its leadership is divided into regions. One such region, the mid-Atlantic area, has been the focus of Dennis L. Martire throughout his career. He began with the organization in 1990 and has served them for more than 30 years in roles of increasing responsibility. He has acted as the mid-Atlantic’s vice president and regional manager for the majority of his career, since 2002. Dennis L. Martire continues his immense dedication to LIUNA today in the same position.
